EV Car Charger Prices is an independent price comparison site. We compare published specs and retailer prices so you can pick the right model without the sales pitch.
What we do
- Compare home EV chargers on what decides the install: the plug, the current your car can take, the circuit the manual asks for, and the safety listing for your country.
- Show prices from stores in the United States and Canada, with the date we checked them.
- Say plainly who each charger is for, and who should skip it, including where a charger has no Canadian safety mark.
What we don’t do
We don’t give wiring instructions. A Level 2 charger or a new 240 V outlet is a job for a licensed electrician wherever the electrical code or the charger’s manual requires one, usually with a permit and an inspection. Our guides explain what the electrician will ask about and why: start with how to get a home charger installed.
How we work
We research every product from manufacturers’ published specs, retailer listings and owner reviews. Pages are drafted with the help of AI tools, then checked against those sources and edited before they go live, and prices are rechecked regularly. We don’t lab-test products, and we say so.
Our method page explains how we pick products, check prices and keep pages up to date: how we choose.
How we make money
Some retailer links earn us a commission when you buy. Others pay us nothing, and we link to them anyway when they have the better price. Commission never changes what we recommend. Read our affiliate disclosure.
