We don’t use cookies or advertising trackers. We count clicks and page views on our own server without collecting personal data, and we only hold your details if you email us.
What we collect
- No cookies. This site sets no cookies for visitors and loads no third-party analytics or advertising scripts.
- Click and page counts. When you click a retailer link or view a page, our own server adds one to a counter for that page, product and retailer. We don’t record your IP address, a device ID or anything else that identifies you.
- Server logs. Our host keeps standard access logs (including IP addresses) for security and troubleshooting. They are rotated and deleted within 30 days.
- Emails you send us. Your address and message, kept only as long as we need to reply.
Where your information is kept
This site is hosted by xCloud, a managed WordPress host, on a server run by Vultr in Toronto, Canada. The server logs above are stored there. We are based in the United Kingdom and manage the site from there, so we can see that information from the UK. Emails you send us are held by our email provider, which may store them outside Canada, for example in the United States or the United Kingdom.
When you click through to a retailer
Retailer links take you to the retailer’s own site. If the link is an affiliate link, the retailer or its affiliate network may set its own cookies to credit the sale to us. Their privacy policies apply from that point.
Who is responsible
EV Car Charger Prices is published by AMCD Solutions, a trading name of Alastair McDonald.

United States
If you are in the United States
We don’t sell or share personal information, and we don’t use it for targeted advertising. Because we don’t track visitors across sites, there is nothing to opt out of. Browser signals such as Global Privacy Control, which California’s Attorney General treats as an opt-out request, are respected by default.
Your rights: if a state privacy law gives you rights over your personal information (California’s Consumer Privacy Act, for example, gives the rights to know, delete and correct, as the California Attorney General explains), you can ask us what we hold, to correct it or to delete it by emailing the address above. We reply within 30 days and treat everyone who asks the same way.
Where it is stored: our web server is in Canada, outside the United States, and we manage the site from the United Kingdom.
Children: this site is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information (the age set by the FTC’s Children’s Online Privacy Protection Rule).
Canada and Québec
If you are in Canada
Where your data is: in Canada. Our web server, and the server logs on it, are in Toronto, Ontario. We manage the site from the United Kingdom, and our email provider may store emails outside Canada, for example in the United States or the United Kingdom. Information stored in, or seen from, another country can be accessed by that country’s courts, law enforcement and national security authorities under its laws, as the Privacy Commissioner’s guidelines on cross-border processing explain.
Privacy officer: the owner of AMCD Solutions, named above, reachable at the email above.
Your rights: under Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) you can ask for the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. We reply within 30 days, the time limit the Act sets.
Complaints: if you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca. We would appreciate the chance to put it right first.
Québec: Québec’s Law 25 also applies to visitors there. The person in charge of the protection of personal information is the owner of AMCD Solutions, named above, reachable at the email above (by default the person with the highest authority in the business, as the Commission d’accès à l’information explains). Information about visitors from Québec is kept outside Québec: on our server in Ontario, and seen from the United Kingdom. You can also complain to the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec at cai.gouv.qc.ca.
Retention: server logs up to 30 days; emails 12 months after the conversation ends.
